Product Description

Application fields: 
Anti-dustmite and anti-microbial finishing agent EMP AMB-120 performs highly effective for mite and bacteria resistance, excellent durability and good safety. The agent exerts no negative influence on the whiteness, shade, tenacity, touch and permeability. The agent is for home textiles including filling materials. Applications examples include: Mattress ticking, protecting mattress covers and supports, quilts, pillows, bed sheets, pillow covers, quilt covers, curtains, textile wall coverings as well as upholstery fabrics and furniture filling materials. The product can meets the requirements of standards such as Okeo-tex Standard 100.
 
Action mode of the agent
Due to the effectiveness of EMP AMB-120 germs and dust mites are deprived of their nutrients and can no longer proliferate.

Compatibility	Can principally be applied in combination with others textile chemicals such as foaming agents, resins, binder systems, uorocarbons, anti-soil products, softeners, antistatic products and ame retardents. Important: Compatibilities should be tested in advance.

Temperature stability	Drying/ xing: 130°C~150°C.
Fastness	Highest wash-fastness can be achieved on cotton in combination with EMP FIX-ET. Fast to dry cleaning as well as light, rubbing and ironing.

Application
Concentration	Anti dust mite protection up to 10 times washing: 1.0~2.0% of EMP AMB-120 relative to the dry weight of the textiles to be nished.
Padding	Undiluted EMP AMB-120 should be added to the bath as last component while stirring to homogenity. Optimal results are achieved at PH 4~7. The absorption properties may be improved by adding a wetting agent.

 

Microbiological Tests	In order to check the antimicrobial and acarostatic effectiveness on the treated textiles, the following test methods are recommended: Many methods such as heat escape method for dust mites   AATCC-100 1998 or JIS L-1902 2002 for bacteria
Incompatibility	Avoid storage with oxidisers. Avoid contamination of water, foodstuff, feed or seed.
Storage	Store in original containers. Keep containers securely sealed. No smoking, naked lights or ignition source. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area. Store away from incompatible materials and foodstuff containers. Protect against physical damage and check regularly for leaks.
Transport	No restrictions.
