Properties: Chromium oxide green is also known as chromium trioxide. Molecular formula Cr2O3, relative molecular weight 151.99, melting point 2266±25ºC, boiling point 4000ºC. It is hexagonal crystal series or amorphous olive green powder with metallic luster and magnetic properties. Insoluble in water and acid, soluble in hot alkali metal bromate solution. It is extremely stable to light, atmosphere, high temperature and corrosive gas, and has good covering power. Chromium oxide has good stability, high temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, light resistance and weather resistance.
