Application fields:  
The anti-microbial and anti-odor finishing agent EMP ABDO-100 are durable hygienic finishing agent, featuring safe, highly efficient and extensive anti-microbial properties, wash-fast, as well as no influence on whiteness, shade, strength, handling and permeability of the treated fabric. EMP ABDO-100 is suitable for finishing all common textile material and mixtures thereof that are in direct contact with the skin.
Application examples include: sportswear, work-wear, lining fabrics, underwear, terry fabrics and articles, socks, hosiery, pullovers, woollen and acrylic blankets, sheepskins, filters, underlays, underwear, uniforms, upholstery, non-wovens, bathroom rugs, bedding.
Action Mode of the agent:
Substrates protected with EMP ABDO-100 are noted for their proven, outstanding skin tolerance and are safe to man and environment.
EMP ABDO-100 has a reliable and durable bacteriostatic effect against a large number of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.
Its activity on the cell disrupts the metabolic process of unwanted micro-organisms and thus interrupts their ability to function, grow and reproduce.

Compatibility Can principally be applied in combination with others textile chemicals such as foaming agents, resins, binder systems, uorocarbons, anti-soil products, softeners, antistatic products and ame retardents. Compatibilities, however, should be tested in advance.

Application  
Concentration 1.0~1.5% of EMP ABDO-100 relative to the dry weight of the textiles to be nished.
For more durability, the product can be used in combination with EMP FIX-ET and EMP SOFT-UP.
Padding Undiluted EMP ABDO-100 should be added to the bath under stirring condition as last component while stirring to homogenity. Optimal results are achieved at PH 4 ~ 7. The absorption properties may be improved by adding a wetting agent.
 
Application:
 
1.0-1.5% of EMP ABDO-100 relative to the dry weight of the textiles to be nished.
  EMP ABDO-100 can be treated on to the textile products by means of padding, exhaustion, coating and spray application methods.
Padding Undiluted EMP ABDO-100 should be added to the bath under stirring condition as last component while stirring to homogenity. The absorption properties may be improved by adding a wetting agent.
Microbiological
Tests
In order to check the antimicrobial effectiveness on the treated textiles, the following test standards are recommended:
AATCC 100 and JIS L 1902.
Storage Store in original containers. Keep containers securely sealed. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area. Store away from incompatible materials and foodstuff containers. Protect against physical damage and check regularly for leaks.
